Description

Hunt over 5000 acres of prime, private farm properties in southern Iowa's big buck country. Your 5 day guided archery/bow hunts are available on early, rut and post-rut dates. Meals and lodging are included at the main lodge in Iowa. Hunting from elevated box blinds and ladder stands as well as ground blinds. Accommodations are 1-4 occupancy per room with shared bathroom & shower area. Options available for room with beds and private bath. Laundry facility available. Typical schedule has you in camp the day before your hunt, on the range and viewing trail cam pics of deer to help hunters learn the scoring of 130-160" class bucks. There is more often ground growth vs ground shrinkage with big body, midwest bucks. Start the day with a continental breakfast, option of sack lunch in the field or soup & sandwich at camp and home cooked midwest evening meal. 2x1 or 3x1 guiding includes in-hunt transportation, skin/cape and debone your harvest. Can arrange additional processing and taxidermy for additional fees. Apply for Iowa tag and if unsuccessful you can move deposit to following year or hunt in Missouri with OTC license. Similar trophy class opportunities on both sides of the border near the main lodge. Early season hunt is October 1-27. Rut hunt is October 26-Nov 15. Post rut hunt is Nov 16-29. You pick the 5 days you would like to hunt. This hunt takes 4 points to draw.

    • Price: $5,100.00

    50% deposit with balance due to outfitter 60 days prior to the hunt date. Seasons vary and vary by price. Early Archery Hunt: Oct 1-5, Oct. 9-13, Oct. 16-20, Oct. 23-27 Archery Rut Hunt: Oct 30-Nov 3, Nov 6-Nov 10

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.
