Description

Being that the top of the area is 25 miles from the Yukon border, these bulls have big genetics. Because this camp is based in British Columbia, these bulls are classified as Canadian moose and are truly impressive animals. Moose hunting takes place in August, September and early October. Spot and stalk, along with calling are both utilized for finding and harvesting trophy Moose. Moose hunts are part of either the Single Species Hunts or Combination Packages, which include Mountain Goat, Mountain Caribou, Elk, Black Bear and Wolf. Most hunts involve horseback at some level, and outfitter is offering a boat hunt as well.

Refund Policy:

Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

Description

You will fly into Fort Nelson, BC and we will pick you up and bring you back to the lodge. From the lodge you will either horseback or backpack to your final hunting destination. When the hunt is done we will transport you back to Fort Nelson. Accommodations during the hunt will be cabin, wall tent or backpack tent, depending on the type of hunt. Please book your Central Mountain Air flight first, as there are a limited number of flights that come to Fort Nelson each day. Once that flight is booked, you can arrange your other flights to coincide with your CMA flight. You can also drive if you would like a more scenic tour of BC. If you would like to bring your meat back home with you, we recommend that you bring a cooler or small freezer.
