Description

A great hunt for some big chocolate horned whitetail in northern Manitoba. This is a 3:1 hunt for 5 days. Hunter will sit in a stand or blind on cut rows and wait for the big bucks to come in during the heat of the rut. You have high shot opportunity on this big bucks as they are active looking for does in heat. Average bucks are around 150", but there have been 200" deer taken on the property.

Classification details:

Largest buck taken in 2019 was 150". Largest buck taken on the property was 200" Boone & Crockett.

Weapons description:

Option to hunt from a tree stand for archery, but rifle is preferred. Average shots range from 100-300 yard shots.
Hunter is responsible for a rifle permit.

    Refund Policy:

    Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

    Description

    A great opportunity to hunt big rutting whitetail bucks in Manitoba. This hunt takes place in blinds where you will set up on the edge of cut rows and wait for the bucks to pass by. High success and shot opportunity on big deer. Hunter will hunt early mornings and evenings when the deer are most active. This hunt takes place around Thanksgiving and can be quite cold. Hunter should be prepared for sitting and waiting during this hunt and pack appropriate clothing. Hunter will also get a wolf tag included in their license and can shoot if seen.

    Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

    Final destination city is Gypsumville, Manitoba. Hunter can fly into Winnipeg and rent a car. If hunter choose the fly-in option, all of the hunter's transportation arrangements will be made by the outfitter.

    Description

    This is a whitetail hunt during the peak of the rut in northern Manitoba. This hunt will be from a blind set up on the edge of cut rows. There is light hiking required and a lot of time sitting behind a blind. Hunter should be prepared with appropriate hunting clothing to be sedentary for long periods of time. Layering systems recommended. Full gear list to be provided when booked.
